I service with the 2nd ballalion 327 th infantry in ashau valley, wounded May 05,1968, never did received my purple heart and I stay 3 weeks in the hospital in Japan , was transferred to korea the rest of my tour.
I was with 1ST platoon, D 1/327th from JUNE 1969 TO 1970. I was wounded in the Elephant Valley (?) Dec. 24th 1969 On the wat to see Bob Hope.
I soon transfered out to Camp Phu Bai and was a door gunner with (BLACK WIDOW) 101AVN, 101 ABN until we crashed around April, 1970.
