I service with the 2nd ballalion 327 th infantry in ashau valley, wounded May 05,1968, never did received my purple heart and I stay 3 weeks in the hospital in Japan , was transferred to korea the rest of my tour.
Here is a close up of one of the 155's on Bastogne. Anyone know why it was jacked up so high? I guess they must have been doing some sort of maintenance on it.

Here's a picture of the 155's on Bastogne. Now these would make the firebase shake when they went off. Does anyone know who the Artillery battery was for the 155's?
