I service with the 2nd ballalion 327 th infantry in ashau valley, wounded May 05,1968, never did received my purple heart and I stay 3 weeks in the hospital in Japan , was transferred to korea the rest of my tour.
I was with the 1/327th from July 70- July 71. I was with ABU Company, third herd until late November of '70. While in the rear I was involved in a jeep / truck accident and had a severe back injury. As a result I ended up spending my last 8 months in HHC as the battalion mail clerk.
