Operation Torch
www.screamingeagles.nl
Tour the WWII battlefields of Operation Market Garden and Bastoqne with the Dutch and Belgian people.
Supported by the Dutch Airborne Friends, a new group has stood up to organise trips for younger generations in order to continue this precious and very special friendship which exists between the 101 st and the Dutch and Belgian people. The Screaming Eagles of WWII Foundation is planning a trip for September 2006 to celebrate liberation and freedom.
A special invitation is offered to all 101 st veterans of former wars (Korea, Vietnam, Gulf War), their family members, as well as the original liberators of WWII, their family members or children of 101 st members who have been killed or missing in action during these operations. We will visit all of the battleground areas of Operation Market Garden in Holland, highlighting key areas where not only the 101 st fought but also the 82 nd Airborne and the British and Polish paratroops. The trip is organised on a non-profit base and in co-operation with different groups and individuals who have two goals in common: For registration and more information on this trip and on the Screaming Eagles of WWII Foundation visit our website: www.screamingeagles.nl
